Mission Statement
The mission of the New Hampshire Building Officials Education Foundation is:
-
To provide general education to the public with regard to the importance of building safety,
nationally recognized codes and the responsibilities of building code officials.
-
To provide specific training opportunities for current building officials.
-
To address the need for attracting and training of prospective candidates for the many open positions
for building officials throughout the state of New Hampshire.
-
To provide educational scholarships to family members of code officials and to the public
for secondary education opportunities.
The foundation is committed to building safety and believes that education and training are essential to the development of safe building environments. Our
communities are best served by well-trained building officials in positions of authority and our foundation will help by making the public aware of the importance of
building safety, providing educational opportunities for prospective officials to obtain the training and nationally recognized certifications necessary for employment
and providing continuing educational opportunities to the public and for those currently employed in building official positions to better serve their communities.
We are a 501(c)3 tax deductible charitable organization.
